Policies and Return Info


Free Shipping & Delivery
Free shipping is available to your door or dock on all items that we sell. Shipping is available only within the contiguous 48 states. At this time we do not ship to APO/FPO or P.O. Box addresses. All items are shipped unassembled or partially assembled unless otherwise noted. Please note that large quantity orders (typically 6+ items) will be shipped via tractor trailer and may require a few extra days for delivery. The driver will bring the items to the tail gate of the truck and the customer will need to unload. "Inside Delivery" is available for an additional fee. This fee is usually noted in the item description. Please specify upon ordering if you request this option.

Lowest Price Guarantee
This is where we really shine! We've scoured the web and continue to research daily so that we stay one step ahead of the competition's prices. When you shop with Direct, you know you're getting the lowest prices possible. If by chance you do find an item offered for less elsewhere, simply bring it to our attention before placing your order. In most cases we can meet or even beat competitor's prices! Direct Office Chairs.com realizes our responsibility to our customers. We want to make everything clear. No additional charges, no surprises, no fine print. The discount price you see on each item information page is the price you pay.

Unfortunately, in some instances, we are unable to match prices of competitors that have items incorrectly priced. This is rare, but never ceases to amaze us!


Hassle Free Returns
We pride ourselves in both the quality and value of the products we sell and want all of our customers to be completely satisfied. If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, simply contact us within 30 days of the delivery date of your order for a return authorization number (with the exception of the ERA chair brand which is 15 days). Please contact us at support@DirectOfficeChairs.com to ensure documentation of the return request.

The majority of our items are returnable, however, we do sell some custom items that are non-returnable. These items are clearly noted as non-returnable on their product information page.

All items being returned must be packed in the original manufacturer's box (don't forget to save the box!) with proper packing material. In some cases we can have the carrier schedule a call tag to pick up the item(s), however, some items must be shipped back by the customer pre-paid.

Unlike most of our competitors, we NEVER charge restocking or originating shipping fees. You are only responsible for return shipping charges. In cases where we pick up the item, we only charge actual shipping costs, no inflated fees! All items must be returned in the condition in which they were received. We reserve the right to bill you for shipping charges on orders returned due to incorrect addresses or refused items that are not damaged.


Freight Damage
Unfortunately, from time to time, freight damage does occur. We certainly hate to see this, however, rest assured that we are here to resolve any issues that you encounter. In the event your order is delivered defective or damaged in shipping, we will promptly ship replacement parts. Just make sure to report these issues to us within 10 days of delivery. We reserve the right to bill you for shipping charges on refused shipments that are not damaged.

Warranty Claims
Our seating is rated for a standard 40 hour work week by persons weighing 250 lbs or less, unless otherwise noted. Product warranty terms and conditions vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Please consult the warranty that ships with your product for complete details. Please be sure to keep your receipt that is emailed to you at the time of purchase as this is necessary for future warranty claims. Some warranty issues are handled directly with the manufacturer and some are processed through us. Feel free to contact us if you are not certain on how to proceed with any warranty claim.

Sales Tax
We only charges sales tax when shipping to the state of Pennsylvania. All other states are tax free. If you have an exemption certificate, please fax it to 724-846-5048 in order for us to waive the tax. Please be sure to reference your order number!

Purchase Orders
We accept purchase orders from all government agencies and public learning institutions. Purchase orders from companies other than the above are accepted on a case by case basis. All purchase orders are subject to our Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions please contact us. Purchase orders can be faxed to 724-846-5048.

Miscellaneous Fees
Returned Check Fee - $25 per incident
Chargeback Fee - $35 per incident
Collections Fee - 18% of the total to be collected
Legal Litigation Regarding Collections - 27% of the total plus any court costs and suit fees (all legal disputes are handled in PA)
Heavy Freight Carrier Inside Delivery - $55 if requested at time of delivery
Heavy Freight Re-Delivery or Pick up Reschedule - $60 per failed attempt


Limitation of Liability
We at Direct Office Chairs work to the best of our ability to ensure the accuracy of the information on our website and in our database. We are not responsible for typographical errors, vendor availability, technical information inaccuracies or product pricing errors. Prices and availability are subject to change at any given time without notice. It is assumed that you have read and understood our policies before placing your order.
